I pledge that we must put Florida’s children first by protecting their health and safety and giving them an education for the future. I pledge to act to support better investments for the success of our children.
Full Declaration
I acknowledge Florida is one of the worst states for providing for our children, with nearly a million uninsured children, a high rate of teen crime, and inadequate investment in our schools;
I believe it’s my responsibility to provide Florida’s children with an education for the future and protect their health and safety;
I believe it is better to invest in our children’s future than to pay for failure;
I call on our community organizations, members of the Legislature, community leaders, and all Floridians to speak out, to stand up, and to persuade others on behalf of Florida’s children.
I commit to be a part of the change that must happen for Florida to rise from “Worst To First.”
